Exactly one month from today, I will be headed back to Haiti. Didn't I just return from Honduras? Just a couple of days ago?!? There are some exciting additions to this trip, compared to the prior two trips. One addition, is that I have been asked to give an Ultrasound presentation at the Medical Conference in Terre Blanche. I will be giving a Power Point lecture about the beneficial uses of Diagnostic Ultrasound in Haiti, with a focus on diagnosing TB/HIV and other common illnesses found there. I'm really looking forward to doing this, and hopefully I will be able to use this presentation on future trips at other locations for MTI. I will also be extending my trip by 3 days, in order to travel to a different location to take photographs and collect personal stories for MTI. After my trip to Honduras, I put together two photo books, one for Haiti and one for Honduras, and gave them as gifts to my Team Coordinators at MTI.
